Do you follow the Canadian nail blog "My Lacquer Cabinet"? (http://mylacquercabinet.com) If not, you should!
Melissa (one of the two bloggers that contribute to the blog) created a series called Polish From A Picture. In that series she gave the same inspiration photo to a buch of different indie makers and asked them to make a custom lacquer based off that photo. I was lucky enough to be a part of this little "experiment" and it was super fun. I think I created a super unique and fun Mood Potion inspired by her photo.
Honey, Where's My Snowpants? is a black thermal lacquer when cold which turns light blue/white when hot. The base has a subtle red shift and is loaded with shimmery electric blue microflakies.
This should reach full opacity in just two coats, depending on the thickness of coats applied.
You can view the blog post for this lacquer here.
As you can imagine colour and glitters can be difficult to capture on camera and accordingly these photos are not a 100% true representation of the lacquers. It gives you an idea but it is much better in person.
**Please note: due to lighting, and various screen settings - actual colors may vary slightly from what you view on the computer.
All Mrs. P's Potions are hand-mixed, 5 free, and cruelty-free nail lacquers. Due to the hand-mixed nature, sometimes settling of pigments/glitter can/will occur. It is strongly recommend that all lacquers be shaken before using. Each lacquer comes with two stainless steel mixing balls inside to assist in the shaking/remixing process.
